ACUI recently partnered with Indiana University to expand research in the college union and student activities field. I have multiple professional associations that I could choose to be a part of, but ACUI is my home. It is where I have connections and where I feel I can give back to the profession that I have received so much from.
ACUI is often a safe haven for members to voice their concerns, feel a sense of belonging to something and to share perspectives. ACUI is a place to bring these things to the forefront and allow our members to be heard. When I think about ACUI, I think of a community that cares, not only about issues, but about people.

Founded in 1914, ACUI is a nonprofit educational organization that brings together college union and student activities professionals from hundreds of schools in seven countries. Its members work on urban and rural campuses, in two-year and four-year institutions, and at large and small schools. They are students and administrators whose mission is to build campus community. ACUI enriches them all through education, advocacy, and the delivery of services.
